Yeah, yeah, I checked the guides, but they seem outdated. Does anyone train at Sharks anymore? I heard people just go to Skeles, but when can you go there, and which map? Also, what build is generally followed, nowadays? Do you still need Seal early? If anyone could give a brief list of the new best training places for 70-120, or any range in between, that would help me a lot. Also, any training techniques used would also be helpful (i.e. double channel mist, etc).

The builds, and training spots, are 2 of the few things which didn't change at all in the past year. They're still the same, therefore, no, they're not outdated, yes, the information you need is in the guides. About which map, I would recommend Dragon Nest Left Behind, or Resorting Memory (Skele MD). As for how to Dual Mist in DNLB, check FrozNlight's video (Youtube). As for how to Dual Mist in Resorting Memory, check Torchalan's guide (I'll try to find a link) .

IImaplersAlthough Gando's guide hasn't been updated in a while, it is still pretty accurate. If you need a second opinion, I'll be glad to give you one. 70-75 you can go to kents with PB (and some say bone fishes are also good). 75-80 is great for squids (start out at double mist, then switch to double/triple channel mist when mist is at least at 28) but you can also go to skeles as early as ~76 with a priest (thx Gando for pointing this out a while ago ), as well as go to skeles solo as early as ~80. With the new time temple maps out, the red monsters seem great for misting. go here: http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1096071/0//The_Official_Time_Temple_Misting_Thread.html# for more details on that. As for the build, it depends on funding/training style/preferance. You can go with mist->seal->explo->booster->amp->etc. if you have have a hard time surviving at skeles and/or can't afford being constantly hit by their brutal magic attack and burning ultra pots. You can also go with mist->explo->booster->seal->amp->etc. if you have no problem surviving at skeles and don't mind the pot burn. Also, the seal-before-explo+booster build makes training a bit slower than the other way around due to having to cast/recast seal in the time it would take to kill a skele(s). Yes, sharks are somewhat obsolete at the moment (comapring to skeles at least), so seal isn't as popular as it used to be. For techniques, I suggest you: 1. Use a whip + speed pill + other speed/jump equips to move quicker through the skele/etc. map and thus get better exp along with better avoidance of the dreaded skele magic attack. This will really help. 2. Get auto mp/hp if you can from the cs. Saved me from death about 800 times at skeles. nuff' said. Oh and go here: http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/958358/0//FP__Per_Hour.html# for %s per hour to see how fast training will be like. yay for self-promotion

Sorry guys that I was wrong about it being outdated. Thanks a lot, though. Your info was perfect for me.

golob said: "Does anyone train at Sharks anymore?" Not in GMS. Just the people who are bored of skelegons, or are masochistic. golob said: " I heard people just go to Skeles, but when can you go there, and which map?" I went at 91. People have gone earlier. Just don't go there alone at like, 80 or something. You'll probably get killed, or use a lot of pots. There are quite a few maps. The most popular one is probably the skelegon mini dungeon, but the mini dungeons have that annoying d/c glitch, and on top of that, dual misting in a mini dungeon can get frustrating if you're in a crowded server. Plus, the map is densely packed with skelegons. I mean, the spawn is just godly, but it's obviously very dangerous as a result. The map outside of the mini dungeon is a pretty good one, too. Then the map before, and after the aforementioned map (peak, and nest of a dead dragon) are used as well. Or at least, they were...I'm not sure if people still train there, or if they go straight to the mini dungeon nowadays. golob said: " Also, what build is generally followed, nowadays? Do you still need Seal early?" The build's a lot less restricted now, I think. Because sharks are abandoned, there isn't as much of a need to max seal as soon as you finish mist. In fact, it can be argued that the only skills you'll absolutely need from your third job skillbook, are amp (for fourth job), and mist. Of course, the game won't let you pass on to your fourth job with a bunch of unused skillpoints, and explosion does have its uses for mist training. What I'm saying though, is that a lot of skills were either rendered obsolete by fourth job skills and new weapons (like comp, which is actually bested by fire arrow being used with an elemental wand, or a decent leveled paralyze), or they were generally never used from the start, like partial resistance. But, yeah. After mist, it's kind of up to you, I guess. Some people go for seal just because it's helpful in the densely packed skele mini dungeon mobs, and others get explosion because it's shiny and it's our first mobbing attack ever, oh my god . Just be sure to get amp at some point, and, at the very least, you won't have to restart your character. xd I hate bikers who ride on the sidewalk said: " If anyone could give a brief list of the new best training places for 70-120, or any range in between, that would help me a lot. Also, any training techniques used would also be helpful (i.e. double channel mist, etc)." Assuming you're going hybrid, from 70 until ~78 or so (whenever your mist doesn't suck), you can train on any of the poison breath monsters. Personally, I stayed at Death Teddies. Nowadays though, we have kents, and some people go there. Those are the only "new" ones I can think of, though. Once your mist is actually good for something practical, you can start using it on squids until 90, or whenever you feel up to killing skelegons. Honestly, that's it. It's simple, and it seems really cookie cutter, but it's fast

You're forgetting that if you go skeles at 8x you lose motivation at around 11x since it's basically been the same through the whole 3rd job.
