Your first real Maple friend?

This is a thread where you get to express yourself. You get to tell stories of the friends you met, and the relationship you have with them now. Feel free to post, however try not to flame, no matter how tempting it is. Here's my story: My first real Maple friend was a guy called Alex. I met him 2.5 years ago. He was aged 15, and I was 13, that didn't really matter. We met in Sleepywood Ant Tunnel, killing mushrooms to get to level 35 so that we could PQ. He was level 33 and I was 30, I thought he was a real pro becuase he had a level 51 and a 33 which I could only dream of. He gave me my first tour of Sleepywood, and took me to jr. balrog, where we both died. Our friendship grew stronger, and it was really fun training with him. We were very different in our personalities, Maple-looks, Maple-job, behaviour etc. Which made it even stranger why we were getting along so well. A month had passed, and I was level 50 and he was level 51. We had great fun in LudiPQ. Leveling for me was very hard, due to level 50 through to 75ish was hell for an ice wizard at that time. However Alex was having a blast as he was a cleric, he was leveling 2 or 3 times a day. At 60, he decided to go back to his level 51 char where you would overlevel me on that AND the cleric, and get to 62 on the cleric and 72 on the fighter/crusader. I finally hit 72, but I was so busy grinding that I didn't realise Alex was slowly spending less time on Maple. And then it happened... That evil hairdresser in Amoria decided to give Alex a HORRIBLE haircut on his fighter and cleric. The same one infact. It was the 'HitIer' haircut. He was so angry becuase he looked ugly, and his mom wouldn't give him NX becuase she didn't believe in paying over the internet. Two weeks had passed and he was depressed about his chars, he had stopped training and he would only come on for an hour a day or less. Alex then started to come on once every few days, and we would joke for a while then he'd go off. He would never come on MSN. Alex was now 16, and he had to quit Maple becuase of lack of commitment to his chars and school. he would then go on to college and I would never talk to him again. That's my long story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have other close friends that also quit, but I didn't meet them on Maple, they introduced me to it, and we bonded becuase of Maple. But i'll leave those stories to another day. SO, who was your first Maple friend?

My maple ex-wife by glitch. I met her when i was like REALLY low lvled. just started the game a few months prior, we hung out everyday for like a year, then we eventually got married for some reason and she ended up quitting. and about the glitch, i think when your spouse isnt online for about a year it auto-divorces D:

sadfeelingz i met him in pig beach and he helped me kill the iron hog o_o he quit now and i dont know if he got banned so hes off rankings or just deleated his character. ;/

AitEff4 in Bera. We still play together. I started playing in 05' met him in 06'. We were at ligators because Maple Items were dropping. I kept seeing him around at PQ, boat rides, and such. So I talked to him. We've become really close friends. He even bought me 10kNX once. I still suck at Maple, but he's pretty pro at it.

umm this guy named 1nimblesin1 he and i met in a cpq while i was in a guild and when i got kicked he added me to his and then i met a lot more friends sadly only one of the friends i met from the guild still plays(as far as i know)

I agree that everyone has some sort of temptation for greed, but not everyone goes through with it if they care for a person, even if it is on an online game.

I was level 15 and I was trying to climb down the tower in orbis. I had blue skin and this cleric named TinyFace went past me, she came back and asked me to join her guild called "Smurfs" which was only for characters with blue skin. She was really nice to me and we remained friends for a long while, watched the guild grow and then at the end we both went to orbis to disband it. I think she's quit maple now, but she was a cool chick. :3
