Lag only in certain towns?

My friend seems to only lag in eliin but as soon as she goes to ludi she is fine. I notice it personally myself b/c when she jumps in elin she gets stuck in the air. But this makes no sense why would she get lag only in elin? Can any1 help me? Edit:She uses a laptop

Maple Tv can lag sometimes and it's annoying.

My desktop lags in orbis, Korean Folk Town, And herb town. EDIT:Just tested,i lag in omega too T.T

I lag at NLC (Not the tower/mansion, but just the right portal and everything there) and Singapore, but other than that, i dont really lag. PC User btw.

im lagging atm right now at Ant Tunnel ll, so hard that i cant do anything once i sign on, im trying to get to town but i cant, but when i try going on my other character thats in henesys, its fine, help PLS

Most laptop users tend to lag in the same places, the problem is vista as far as I've heard, just google it up, theres a way to fix it (I think), if not, reduce your graphic quality to the lowest, thats the only other way to fix it.

I would like to know how to fix this as well, my 4g of ram vista laptop (nvidia 71xxm go card) It the only reason I still use my desktop for my major maple times. (XP on the desktop) On a side note I will lag out of my face if my laptop overheats, so fyi keep it cool for better and stable playing time.
