link 2, 12gb of ram ;3

economically, link 2 is much better. the i7's on both machines are extreme overkill. you're taking it to the next step w/ the acer one with extreme overkill. since you're asking a ms forum, i'm going to assume you aren't doing any professional work with it, and probably just play ms and game. if that's the case, games are mostly reliant on your gpu. cpu upgrades will net you 3-5ish frames on intensive games. if you think that's really worth it, pay the extra $400. if you're only going to be playing ms on your computer, let me tell you something: you could easy get a smooth ms experience with a build-it-yourself computer for less than $500 if you dont count the monitor.

Silly prebuilts and their extreme prices. But if you insist, link two is better. The CPU on link one is extreme overkill as Andrew said , and link two gives you dual 260's instead of just one.

If you would build a custom PC, you can save almost 700 $ -_-...
EVIIPEPE 07/05/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
Second one, no doubt.

LMAO, i find it funny how kids when they see 12 gig of ram they go all crazy OH EM GEEEEEE While, I could buy a sht motherboard and videocard an push 12 gig of sht ram in it and you kids would think its awesome. First link is the best, But id build one yourself. My spec's Intelcore i7 920 4.8 gigz ( Overclocked ) 3x XFX GeForce GTX285 690M Black 1GB 8 gig 1333 mhz ddr3 ram Microsoft Windows Vista H. Prem i got it for 1000 euro. Mine's self build and better then both of those links for either the same price or lower =) Btw, Don't get scared of '' Self build '' You can pay the store liek 50 bucks, and they will put it together for ya =)

I would pick the first one. The case is really cool and I think Asus puts less bloatware into their PCs than HP. The Asus one also has a better graphics card and comes with a Razer Arctosa gaming keyboard. Personally, I don't like CyberPowerPC and iBuyPower pre-builts. The cases on the pre-builts are SO ugly!
