Why is it socially unacceptable. I mean other animals eat each other. So like yeah. Just because humans are the most advanced, and top of the food chain. Doesn't mean it should be socially unacceptable. I'm in NO WAY for cannibalism. I don't even get why animals do it. It's nasty and weird. However I just wanna know why. O.o Basil really isn't a good place to ask this though. However I need my entertainment.

It's because it's usually just seen as barbaric and uncivilized. Most people in the world act like apes anyway, don't see why it's so wrong.

Cannibalism is ok because everyone is just made out of meat. It is not like if a human eats a human it is any different from a human eating cow or pig.

There are places that allow cannibalism, in fact promote it. Honestly, if other people want to eat humans, I see no problem in that, as long as you don't do it in front of me.

Hmm. Maybe it's different for the animals. They do eat each other, but it's rare to find an animal that eats the same species that it is. For example, grizzly bears don't eat other grizzly bears, but they eat salmon. They're both animals but different species. Well now that i'm writing this I realize we are animals also. And we eat cows, but that doesn't make us cannibals. So in conclusion, it depends on the definition of cannibalism. Human eating human, tiger eating tiger, salmon eating salmon, or animal eating animal? Good argument. =]

If cannibalism is okay'd, then so would murder. And that wouldn't be good at all. Humans need order to exist.
