This is how I replied to the message that my youth leader sent to me. This is her message after how I posted on facebook on how my mom is idiotic and nub on computers. Hello Tom, You told me you want the younger kids to respect you, you want us to respect, you want the younger kids to 'obey' you, you want the younger ones to look up to you. You told me you believe you are a good role model for the younger kids. Well, my dear child, I have gently remind you on many occasions to obey your mother, respect your mother, be courteous to your mother, be a good role model for your younger siblings. And you are inviting ridicule yourself, by telling the whole world you despise your mother. You are telling the whole world you have no problem humiliating her in public. You are telling the whole world you have no problem using the foulest language to describe your mother. TO remedy this public humiliation to your MOM, this flaunting of your sin against your mother, the only JUST thing to do as a decent son is to apologize in public. I demand that as your Youth Ministry Mentor. This is how I replied to the message: You are right, Ms. NG. My actions towards my mother was very disrespectful, outrageous and my words were full of cruel words. Even if my mother is a recalcitrant person, it doesn't allow me to do such action. Though my actions were foolish, I truly regret for writing such words on a social network website. Using foul words towards my mother is not as justible as posting my thoughts to the public. By doing such action, I am basically being a hypocrite and disrespecting and breaking one of the ten commandments. Besides that, I am displaying a negative role model especially when I am part of Lifeteen, a junior leader of EDGE and as a brother of two siblings. Nevertheless, the most important step is to apologize to my mother and that will be a very difficult task. And also, I thank you for helping me to realize my mistakes and correct me in the best way possible. ~Tom Chan Thoughts?

Thoughts on what? What is there to think about? You've already seen what's right and will carry it out, so what do you want us to say? Also, you wrote "my words were full of cruel words". That doesn't really make sense.

You either have low self-control, or are very sheep-like. Neither of which I think you should be advertising on BasilMarket. A good rolemodel ought to teach others to think for themselves, not fold under authority.

Cussing her out wasn't an option. Do you know what would happen if I did such thing? If you met her, you would know what it would be like.
