Hi, I am looking for a laptop that can play Maplestory decently (does not d/c in Zakum), daily life things, and portability. My budget is under 800$ (not including tax). Will I be able to get such a laptop with that kind of money. I have done some research and I checked the maplestory specs to play it, but I want your opinion on a certain laptop, that you have bought and would recommend.

$800 is definitely enough. Although you will get more money's worth with a desktop pc. Only get a laptop if you work/ go to college. Since you want to do zakum, I'd recommend windows xp, since with vista there's glitches. There's ways to get around them, but it can be troublesome. HP dv4 is quite nice, around $600 I believe For really small, HP Mini 1000 or Acer aspire one, around $300

I was thinking of Acer, but it is too small to fit my needs. I was looking for inleast a 16" screen.

MSI EX625 ( newegg ). Its overkill but it will get the job done. Also, the only "glitches" with Vista, is peoples crappy hardware. Ive been on several Zakum runs with my laptop using Vista, and I have yet to DC. Of course, I have a dedicated GPU so when all of the pixel data is shoved into my GPU, its not bottlenecked by a lack of memory bandwidth :P

XaqaKec8 said: "Get acer, it's always the best11!" not sure if I can agree with that, but the EX625 is a very nice laptop. The 4670 is a perfect GPU for average gaming. Also try the 620 if you're an nvidia fan.
