M4pl3tr4d3So, yesterday I was playing Guitar Hero World Tour with my sister for about 30 min after I came home from work. It was in the basement, so nothing was over-heated or anything. Afterwards she went upstairs, and I popped in LOTR Conquest (It's addicting somehow) and was playing in a match, when my TV just turned off. I have a Samsung 52'' LCD. The model is LN52A650. The power won't come on, the little red standby light isn't on either. I tried re-plugging it to different working outlets, and secured the cords. It won't turn on. I googled the problem before telling my Dad and it says a small number of these TVs automatically shut off or some turn on and off repeatedly. They said a firmware upgrade solves the problem, but I can't turn it on to download it. What I'm asking is, was playing video games on it the reason the tv broke? I'm pretty much the only one who uses it, unless my family watches a movie. Even so, what kind of quality is a TV if it can't stand a few hours of video games. The old one I used to use, I could leave my Xbox on and nothing'll happen. IS IT MY FAULT? Thanks for reading

Probably not, but I would have thought it was your fault if you were the only one using it and it broke one day

Leave it for a day, maybe it's overheated?

Plus, it's cold in the basement, so it would take a little longer then in a hotter room. I've been using it for like a little over a month.

You shouldn't be playing games an a TV that big. It probably overheated. I can't really remember why you shouldn't play vid games on a TV taht big, but there's a good reason.

M4pl3tr4d3How can it over-heat that fast? The old TV, I played longer and it never burned out.
