Can't use windowed mode now for some reason.

Yep. Whenever I use Alt+Enter to go into windowed mode, I just get a beeping noise. Same thing happens when I use the options to do it manually. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? (Yes, I have Vista.)

Nop, I never had such lame problems. (I'm not helping you out simply because you assumed it was vista's fault)

I'm not assuming it's Vista's fault. It usually helps to state that I have have Vista in advance before I get an "XP or Vista?" question. Now I'm annoyed because you assumed I was blaming Vista. I just need help here. .-.

I had the same issue until i went to properties ~> compatability then clicked on box run in 640x480

Yep, that fixed it. The screen goes nuts when the patcher opens up, but pressing alt + f4 acts just like hitting start. Thanks.
