Maple Getting Ridiculous?

Is maple going overboard? Remember back then... For those of you, like myself, who have played maple since its 1st or 2nd year, you would probably remember how fun it was back then. Lpq was one of the greatest pqs for its excitement and fun, opq glitch was an awesome way to lvl to 70, lots more and guess what? Nx was just for clothes, 2x (NOT CRAP, just clearing this up for those who didn't read thoroughly) or none of the newer crap, such as buying your way to lvl 30, didn't exist! :O (Please post some of your great "Back then moments below") What's happening? With the demand for video games going up and more and more people playing online games, nexon wanted to get a big share of the profits by making new nx items to encourage others to buy it. Maple is free, but it's not free to have nice clothes covering your (maybe) hideous under-armor. And some people say maple isn't fun w/o nx. (Nx doesn't make the game fun in some cases, but it could prevent you from doing things in the game.. ~Some people may judge you on your nx status. ~Certain events require nx-bought items ~You cannot Gach if you don't have nx ~If The Amorian Beauty or Beast quest f**ked up your hair, you cannot change it to a decent hairstyle w/o nx ~Nexon is making everything rely on nx *Someone said in a different post* "With nexon making everything turning back to nx, they're probably going to start making us pay to play maple. It's annoying, but I like maple and I finally got to lvl 120... Why stop now due to nexon's actions? Someone has to write to nexon and tell them what we would like for once... I doubt they'd listen but.. Someone tell them to stop making pq's for lvl 30-55. There's 3 pqs out already and now Lpq has died. And the events every freaking month is driving me crazy, can't we get a break? Most of these events SUCK!" I couldn't find the poster but I did copy and paste what he/she (they were a black invisible person?) said before I made this Thread :P More Events, WHY? More Events... I'm sick and tired of the events. (HOORAH FOR THE EXP CURVE <3) but every 1-2 months its a new event, can't nexon take a break from adding new things and just let us have a regular maple day? I'm not saying "NO MORE EVENTS, NEVER" I mean not an event every month that nobody was aware or prepared for. I am saying "Yes Events, but not very pointless and annoying ones... (Maple Day Market kinda annoys me..) The Goods and Bads? (Short Summary) What I think is good :3 ~The ever-expanding world of maple, the newly added ToT is awesome! A place where the higher levels can go and a new boss gives more challanges to higher leveled players. ~Some events. Events that have a pretty good outline and a good story behind it is what people like. (It's what I like ^^;) Everybody loves a good 2x event. And they also like benifitial rewards! Events like the maple anniversary, and holiday events provide this for us. Thanksgiving gives us a chance to get 100-2000 maple points or so. ~Ever-expanding cashshop.

i remember when lpq was fresh and aqua road was on the way, 1k was probably 10 times what it's worth now, the market was still good, people were nicer. and you didn't need nx unless you wanted to look shnazzy or have a pet. Nowadays if you want to have fun or get ahead in the game you either have to choose NX or a life of maple crime :O

I agree 100%, im getting really upset the new pq is out for lvl 45-55, its fun, and it makes ur rely more on eachothers capabilities (what job they are) and no one is doing it why? because the experience isn't as great as two other pq's: Carnival pq, and LMPQ seriously, don't people ever get tired of that? I mean after a while it gets SO FREAKING ANNOYING

Guess what? Things change. I'd take any kind of change instead of some boring old MS 3 years ago that would never expand.
