I came to Korea for vacation and I couldn't bear to part with Maple for a couple months again, so I brought it with me. My friend said that they block the Maple Installer, so I downloaded the installer in the US and brought it with me on a flash drive. I started downloading here and everything went perfectly. MS downloaded in like 50 minutes and then I realized there was a patch so the little window popped up: We are unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block or other network issues. WHY IS THIS HAPPPENING? I realize that the patch is over but is this because they detected that I'm not in the US or something went wrong during the patch? Please Note: I'm not asking people If I should quit for two months.

Probably because of your ip is not a US ip

Its your IP, its from a country that has maple (duh its korea) you need to bypass it, go search for "proxies" or look around for a guide. It doesnt have to be a US proxy it just has to be one from a area without a Maple in it. so Taiwan Korea Japan China Brazil Europe dont work.

Even If I downloaded an MS proxy, I still wouldn't know what to do and how to bypass the IP filter. I hate to sound whiny lol... Also, couldn't I get banned for changing or resetting my IP to log in from another location?

Use UltraSurf as a proxy (Google it)

In different parts of the world. There is a MapleStory for that one part. In Korea it is KMS and ONLY KMS unless you mask your IP address. No other MS will work if you use a Korean IP address. Another thing is that you CAN'T play KMS, since all game companys there require you to put your Korean ID Number to sign up. Unless you bypass that and or hold a duel citizenship between America and Korea.
