Stuck at HackShield

I never had problems before. But now, i've tryed to open maple.. and I get stuck on hackshield ... the bar won't move.. I know it's not my internet connection... hmm... maple was working fine all day long.. so what now? I'm on vista .. if that helps o_O EDIT: After 5 mins, it says ''Update error 805306416.. cannot connect to the server''

It worked for me. All I did was go to contro panel, then firewall. Went to settings and disabled it.

it happened to me too. i went to my firewall options then added maplestory.exe and HSUpdate.exe to the exceptions list then i started playing and made 5mil :D lol im poor

run autoup.exe in the update folder. solved my problem

SAME! same same! ame same same I just deletd maple story an redownloaded it still won't work. I advise everyone to just wait till nexon fixes it, DO NOT REDOWNLOAD MAPLE STORY IT WILL NOT HELP!

Same problem. I went to task manager, ended MS and HSupdate and it began working immediately.
