| Guide to Ludibrium Maze PQ Just a little bit of background info about me. I started Maple back when Ludibrium had barely come out. Those were the golden days when there were no level 200 characters and the competition for number 1 Mapler was between Tiger and Sushi. My Priest is my main, which I started last summer and is level 77 now. I also have a Fighter which is currently level 54, and PQing in Khaini. I wanted to write this guide to help all those that hit 51 and do not know how to LMPQ and inform the Basil community of the hidden treasures this PQ contains. I struggled with leveling as you might have noticed starting nearly 3 years ago and having only one character to reach 3rd job and this PQ really helped me grind through it. I wish everybody who hits 51 good luck on reaching 70 and have fun reading this guide! Table of Contents Note: There is an easier way to maneuver around this guide. Just press Ctrl-F on PCs and apple-F on a Mac to search the chapter names or key terms you are looking for rather than the slower method of clicking links. Chapter 1: Prerequisites Chapter 2: Objectives Chapter 3: How to Get Around the Maze Chapter 4: The Dream Team Chapter 5: Tactics and Terms Chapter 6: Rewards Chapter 7: Ending and Credits Chapter 1: Prerequisites Well, who is allowed entry into this goldmine of EXP? The only prerequisite is that you have to be between levels 51-70! Sweet eh? Of course, like most PQs, the higher leveled the better, but in this case, if you can find a party at level 51, the EXP can be quite extraordinary! The PQ entrance is located smack dab in the middle of Ludibrium on top of the toy factory, so head there with a party of 6 and youre all set to go! Chapter 2: Objectives Your purpose in the PQ is to head over to the room in the maze that youve been designated (There are 15 by the way. Thats why its called a maze!), either Room 6 or 7, knock over all the boxes inside until the Tauromacises are summoned and kill them. Then, your leader will collect the tickets that drop from the Tauromacises (50 tickets to each drop), only located in Room 6 or 7, and head with the party to the hidden Room 16 (OMG not another room!) and click the NPC to exit. To get to Room 16, you have to go to Room 9 and take the middle portal. That is the only way to find Room 16. The more tickets you have in the end, the more EXP everyone will earn. Not to mention, the time at which you complete the PQ is crucial to your EXP gains. You have 15 minutes to finish a PQ and your hope is to finish the PQ at the 14 minute time mark hence the term 1 minute PQ. Ill go into more details on tactics in Chapter 5. Chapter 3: How to Get Around the Maze So, there are 15 rooms not counting the secret Room 16, and I bet youre wondering how in the world do you get around all these rooms. Its simple. Theres a basic procedure that applies to each of the rooms in the maze that will allow you to get around the maze easily. The first part of this procedure is f |
