Why are Hermits Called Hermits?

*****EDIT: Title is meant to say 'Why are Hermits called Hermits?'***** So I really don't know why Nexon/Wizet decided to make the 3rd star-throwing subclass of thieves called Hermits. Anyone care to explain why? This is dictionary.com's definition of hermits: 1. a person who has withdrawn to a solitary place for a life of religious seclusion. 2. any person living in seclusion; recluse. 3. Zoology. an animal of solitary habits. 4. Ornithology. any of numerous hummingbirds of the genera Glaucis and Phaethornis, having curved bills and dull-colored rather than iridescent plumage. 5. a spiced molasses cookie often containing raisins or nuts. 6. Obsolete. a beadsman. These are my thoughts against them: 1. I doubt anyone would play Maplestory just to hideaway in some random map and I'm pretty sure someone would find him/her eventually. :P 2. What I said above :X. 3. Ummmm, what I said above again. 4. Yea..... I don't think so.... 5. As much as I would enjoy being a weird type of cookie... I don't think so either......... 6. Yea, w/e that is... I don't think I am one :|. So, all in all, why do YOU think Hermits are called Hermits?

Because during most of the 3rd job training, it's Solo. Or at least it used to be. Now there are tons of things to do.

Ninjas are supposed to feel nothing towards those they have contracts on or to anybody that may prove good for business. Living in seclusion away from anybody you could possibly have any sort of affection for would help you to stay sharp witted and indiscriminate about who you kill. PHEER TEH NINJA! Summary: It's 2.
