Click here to download the browser that will wipe off Safari, Opera, IE, and even Chrome from the face of the earth... With Mozilla's release of Firefox 3.5 RC2 (release candidate), the newest version of the already-popular multi-award winning web browser will soon be even faster, safer, and easier to use than ever! Firefox 3.5 Soon to be released publicly in it's most stable stage yet? Note that release candidates are the second-to-final version. 3.5 will be out, give or take, in about a month or so. Here's a demo of what Firefox 3.5 is capable of achieving: Change your web browser from night to day, with customizable features including THE ALL NEW BLACK GOOGLE! sorry, that was racist of me. google should stick with white, cuz white is cool, ya dig man?

I was extremely disappointed by FX 3.0. Is this going to be another memory whore, or it is going to try and use less resources?

Is it 100% compatible with the add-ons yet? Also, is it optimized for 64-bit?
ThunderHail 06/22/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT

Also, is it optimized for 64-bit?" define optimized. if u mean compatible, then yes, any 64-bit version of vista or xp or any OS can use ff 3.5 HOWEVER, i don't think flash animations work as of yet! . as for the add-ons, about 85% of the "popular" add-ons have compatability, including adblockplus, noscript, and cooliris pics and some other ones. the older add-ons that are generally unknown by the mozilla community probably haven't updated it yet. but you should ditch those anyway since they're past their support-warranty, if u know what i mean!

ShiroNoYami said: "Is it 100% compatible with the add-ons yet? Also, is it optimized for 64-bit?" All of my addons are working, and I've got tons of them. I've got one suggestion to Mozilla though: Add a freaking activity window. That is the only reason I ever use Safari: to download embedded, flash-controlled content. There are addons that can do this (like livehttpheaders), but the activity window can also stop slow downloads.
