Help with English Homework!

Well we're doing an essay and there are 4 topics to choose from. The one i'd like to do is about "Who are the 3 characters that come cloest to being a hero in a Midsummer Night's Dream". Could you guys tell me and give me reasons why? I think Bottom is a hero because he helps everyone do better in the play but I can't think of any others.

I can't remember the names, lemme see the cast of characters real quick. Puck's gotta be one of them, he keeps the story moving(which is ionno, not really a hero...ish) and he fixes all of his mistakes except for I think Demetrius still loves Helena(I think, can't remember the names much) and all ends happily.

My class and I finished this book on the last week of school... lol xD. How can bottom o-o... isn't he a jerk kind of? Because he thinks he can do all the roles by himself lol. I'd have to say Theseus because he is both strict and loose when it comes to punishment (like with Hermia). He follows the laws and yet makes many options for Hermia to choose from.
