old client?

hey guys i downloaded maple many times already and everytime I open it up it starts to patch and then says something like" your client is too old please get the latest client" even tho i downloaded the newest one. help anyone?

Not everyone can download from the official pages at the moment for some reason. All its showing is a 404 Page not found error.

wipe it off your computer first. the download it off the official site. the only problem you might have after that is your monitor is on the wrong frequency. to fix that go to search your files on your local hard dick c. if not found go to local hard dick c&d. the file you want is called setup exe. open that. when it asks you a question click on no. it will then start searching for the correct monitor frequency. don't be surprised if your monitor flashes on and off. that means the program is working. as soon as you any maple story sigh on your monitor. hold down Alt and hit h key at the same time. after that you shouldn't have any more problems. note version 71 does require a bit more from your computer now. so before even trying check to see if your computer can handle it. or you will end up playing the game in lag a lot. the monitor thing i threw in because a lot of people have upgraded their monitors so the frequency of the new monitor has changed and sometimes your computer doesn't always pick it up for maple story. peace. gregg

thanks for your help guys. but it turns out after reinstalling it (for the 5th time) i saved my maple story file in my program files and it works.
