Basilers. State how many hours you practice a day on your instrument. Whether is violin, piano, cello, bass, clarinet, flute, oboe, saxophone, harp, trumpet, accordion, trombone, etc. etc. etc. I practice a few hours a day. Varies. During the school year. I only get about 1-2 hours a day in not including the time I practice in school during my lunches and study halls. Now that it's summer. I've be practicing 3-4 hours but now I'm starting 4-5 hours. I play bass. I usually go through this. 1 hour = 2 octave scale, matching a few cents away and practicing until it is a few cents away. I only do 1 scale. Such as a C scale for one day. 30 minutes = Go through all the scales I have already learned. 30 minutes = Go through arpeggios 30 minutes = Sight reading practice 30 minutes -1 hour = Work on a solo piece I usually have a 5 minute break in between each of the sections. It varies everyday but this is what I usually. Basilers. Post your practice routines! I'm curious of how you spend your time while practicing an instrument. Even post some videos of yourself playing. Show off your hard work! I might record myself playing the solo piece that I am currently working on. What instrument do you play O_O I play acoustic and it's pretty dull I just sight read notes for around 20 minutes, practice chord changes for 15 minutes, then play random riffs.

I pick up my guitar or bass whenever I get bored, or want to learn something, and learn to play it? Besides that, I have a instructor who teaches me scales and skills and stuff once a week.

2hours of jazz stuff, jazz ideas, stick control, syncropation. 30 min of rudiments 30 min of just jamming around i play drums btw

for 2 hours on my trombone - play whatever music sheet i can get my hands on - practice high notes and reaching the very very high ones

One hour a day, maybe more though. I play bass guitar. I just practice what I feel like practicing. As of now, I'm practicing the Minor pentatonic scale all over the fretboard and mixing it up with the lydian mode.

i could do all those that you've listed in 1/3rd the time on my electric guitar anyways i memorize the neck + the scales (pain in the ass but it's really cool once you understand it) work on solo pieces, working on canon in D major atm do all scales do chord alternations do finger practices play music in the book pretty much it
