Hello and welcome to my guide. In this guide, I will teach you how you can easily gain Rep within the shortest time possible. This guide was made through testing with a pretty poor computer. Here are my computer specs. If I can do this, surely you can too xD I did not create this guide to copy the previous "guide" found in other parts of this site. I created this guide because I felt people should know there is a much easier way, as well as more effective way of doing this. Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3 Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 1.80GHz 1.79GHz, 512 MB of RAM. Rafe Fury Pro/Xpert 200 Pro Graphics I hope this guide helps you gain a bit of money and/or easier leveling in later levels as it has for me. Please post any errors and/or leave feedback. Thank you. Rep Understanding What is Rep? Rep is associated with the Family system that was implemented into MapleStory. You can be both a Junior and a Senior. In order to add a Junior, they must be within 20 levels of you at the time you are adding them. The same goes for you being a Junior. You must be within 20 levels of the person adding you at the time you are being added. If you add someone as a Junior, you are their Senior. This means that you are higher on the chain of the Family than they are. There is no limitation to how big a Family can be (that I know of). The only requirements is that at the time of adding into the family, the potential Senior must be at least 1 level higher than the Junior, and at least within 20 levels of the Junior. Example: Player A wishes to add Player B as a Junior. Player A: Level 40 tries to add Player B: Level 20 = will work. Player A: Level 40 tries to add Player B: Level 39 = will work. Player A: Level 40 tries to add Player B: Level 19 = won't work. Player A: Level 40 tries to add Player B: Level 40 = won't work. Player A: Level 40 tries to add Player B: Level 41 = won't work. Rep is gained when a Junior of yours either levels or finishes a quest. Although I am unsure, I believe if a Junior of your Junior levels or finishes a quest, you also gain Rep. There are two ways to add someone as your Junior. The first is by manually adding them by name. Open your Family Menu (F button) and click add Junior. Type their name in the box that appears and click Ok. The much easier way is to right click their character and choose "Add Junior". Rep Rewards These are the rewards you you can use when you have enough Rep. Family Reunion - 300 reps - Teleports you to the chosen family member. Summon Family - 500 reps - Teleports a family member of your choice to you. My Drop rate 1.5x(15min) - 700 reps - Increases monster drop rate by 1.5x for 15 minutes. My EXP 1.5x(15 min) - 800 reps - Increases EXP by 1.5x for 15 minutes. Family Bonding - 1,000 reps - Increases the drop and EXP rate by 2x for 6 members below you in the pedigree must have 6 people or more. My Drop rate 2x(15 min) - 1,200 reps- Increases monster drop rate by 2x for 15 minutes. My E

Erm, I don't think 30-45 minutes is worth 2k rep.

That's pretty interesting. Might want to suggest the better quests you can do early on, too.

Excellent guide. Although this was common sense, thank you.

I've seen it sold for 5 million mesos in Scania. IMO, 5 million for an hour and a half tops is very worth it. It helps the players that aren't able to merchant like the pros.

frankli0Well actually my friend does it this way. He made a new char to lv 20 then he just keeps partying with lv 10-15 with 6 ppl at hpq. THen each pq he finishes he gains a ton of rep.

Or you could just use a level 30 character, and add a couple of level 10's at HPQ and wait for them to level. Edit: Oh I suppose if you plan on selling the 2x this way wouldn't work very well. But I usually get atleast 4k rep per day as long as I choose active Jr's, so I can 2x my sniper.

bananango said: "but what if we're not level 10...?" This would be why you create a Rep Mule, which is going to be a new character. You can simply save all of your Rep until your satisfied with the amount, then mass sell it and transfer any profits to your higher leveled characters. Lets do a bit of math shall we? 5k Rep = 2 characters made this way. 5k Rep = 1 hr of playing time. 5k Rep = (rep used for My Party EXP 2x(30min)) = 5m This is the breakdown of the profits you can make. If selling to one person: 6 hours a day playing time resulting in 30k Rep. In one day, you will have made 30m. 8 hours a day playing time resulting in 40k Rep. In one day, you will have made 40m. If selling to 2 people: 6 hours a day playing time resulting in 30k Rep. In one day, you will have made 60m. 8 hours a day playing time resulting in 40k Rep. In one day, you will have made 80m. If selling to 3 people: 6 hours a day playing time resulting in 30k Rep. In one day, you will have made 90m. 8 hours a day playing time resulting in 40k Rep. In one day, you will have made 120m. If selling to 4 people: 6 hours a day playing time resulting in 30k Rep. In one day, you will have made 120m. 8 hours a day playing time resulting in 40k Rep. In one day, you will have made 160m. If selling to 5 people: 6 hours a day playing time resulting in 30k Rep. In one day, you will have made 150m. 8 hours a day playing time resulting in 40k Rep. In one day, you will have made 200m. Remember, it only uses 5k per party, not per person. The bigger the party, the bigger the profit. EDIT: And no, I'm not lying. I've seen it countless times being smega'd and know quite a few people who bought it.

MostNoob 06/18/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
We can only use it once a day AFAIK

Still though, nice guide.
