focus or blessing

i know there is skill guides but there wasnt an emphasis on the last few lvls sp for bowman. ive maxed crit,E.O.A.,Double shot. now should i put my remaining points in focus or blessing? is one better than the other? thanks

I would say focus. Focus gives extra avoid, which you could use. Since it's an archer, you could use the avoid more than the extra accuracy. If you go FA-less, you'll max focus late 2nd job.

Recap: Blessing is a passive skill that gives you accuracy. Focus is a casted skill that gives you accuracy and avoid. As a bowman you already have tons of accuracy, so having more accuracy won't really help you, unless you feel like going to train some incredibly high leveled monster that you'll do almost no damage on. Except for CPQ. When my archer was 4x, I found that avoid up did almost absolutely nothing against me. But then, I dunno how CPQ is nowadays. As for avoid... well, you already don't have tons of it. Having focus will give you a wee bit more chance of avoiding a monster, but let's face it, the probability of a monster missing you regularly enough to make the MP cost of Focus worth is are really really small. Unless you're training on really low leveled monsters. Plus with Focus, you use more pots and you need to keep recasting it. Short version: Both are about the same in my opinion. Equally not helpful (but not useless).

I would choose focus, for its addition of avoidability. I went FA-less during second job and was able to max it, and it has been a life-saver in many cases.

Yes, I would choose focus, since you can just not cast it if you find it unuseful or don't want to spend the mana, but the acc from Blessing is totally useless, and one day you might like the idea of having some more avoid and (if you go FA-less) you have enough points to spend for focus.

If you get 9 focus in 1st Job: Level 9: MP -10; accuracy +9 and avoidability +9 for 160 seconds In 160seconds you regain 16*3=48MP, this is enough to recast it 5 times. Then if you go FA-less (most recommended these days) you'll have 11 SP leftover after maxing all other 2nd job skills, which you could max Focus with: Level 20: MP -16; accuracy +20 and avoidability +20 for 300 seconds In 300seconds you regain 30*3=90MP, enough to recast it 5times. Where's the extra MP pot useage coming from? Not mentioning that EVERY miss I get from Focus' avoid means I saved 2200mesos (using pops). In short: They both don't have a high priorty, but because you may have 11 SP left if you don't choose FA, it's better to max Focus than Blessing, because blessing is even more useless than Focus (it even has some uses).

There is virtually no argument for putting more than 3 points in Blessing of the Amazon. (And if the first 3 weren't required as a prerequisite, then any points.) Of all the obnoxious things you can do to your archer, for the sake of the Maple Goddess, don't put points into Blessing, it only adds accuracy. The only time you will practically need more accuracy is never . Anybody with a basic knowledge of Archer-hood will tell you the same, while both Focus and Blessing are next to never affecting your character, Focus is marginally less useless. I would rate it as a 2/10 as opposed to 0/10 for Blessing.
