I maxed both, lit first, I ludi pqed and then LMPQd so i never used either, now Ice strike is almost better than both, it really doesn't matter which these days

Maxed both. I went ice first AND IT WAS JUST THE SAME TO LVL compared to lightning... Mayb it was because i pqed all the way? =DD.

I went ice first but you can max lightning first for mobbing. its useful in cpq

i put like 15 or so points in ice then started doing 2/1 ice/lightning now doing mp eater as med is pretty pointless so ima max that last

They're used for different things, so you can't really say one is "better" than the other one :P. I went lightning first and loved how it looked :D.

Cold Beam: hits much higher, single enemy attack, goes through terrain Lightning: doesnt hit as high (maybe 60% of Cold Beam? not sure), hits up to 6 enemies, goes through terrain
