Mostly pertaining to guides, not normal posts. I'm tired and i have an english final tomorrow so i'll make it quick. I think some general posting customizations should be implemented. All forums have text resizing (bolding caps'd text just isn't enough) to make things really big, coloring changing, different alignments (centering text, text appearing on the right side, etc), and a lot of other things that would make guide making (or even general posting) more fun and easier to follow.

There's no way to differentiate between a "guide" and a regular thread that helps people by system, but personally I'm for the font decor and stuff.

Sounds nice. But, how would the site be able to determine if you're genuinely about to make a guide or not? I guess the only bad part is that users can take advantage of the function and spam/post threads that aren't guides with all of the text customization in it. But, those threads can be deleted.

Idea: Stickied threads get fancy powers.

But isn't it more of an aesthetic choice? I personally think that all we need is underlining, and centering.

There's tens of thousands of them, and pretty much every single one of them has these kinds of features. OxStarxO said: "But isn't it more of an aesthetic choice? Edit: Could we add picture posting to that list of fancy powers, too? :/ Perhaps spoilers too. Those things would trim down pretty much all of my guides so they aren't so text heavy. |

I would certainly like to be able to use text resizing and recoloring on my guides. Only having headers pisses me off. I don't think it would be a good idea for non-stickied threads to be given those features, though. If none of that is an option, then at least give us the underline tool! I mean COME ON, how many internet forums don't have that?
