Edit Thread Title

In a lot of scenarios, threads will often make shifts in topic discussions. My suggestion is to allow the creator of a thread to edit his thread title, similar to editing a post or thread. Reasoning for this is that in a lot of cases, you find topics will switch in one thread than the intended thread topic. If the thread has in actuality changed its main focus of topic without spam just being tossed around, why not rename the title to avoid misleading other users and creating a whole new wasted thread. The feature should be set on a time so that threads can only be changed once per 3-5minutes to avoid abuse but TBH, this is an almost essential feature that should be added. Why we don't have it already is a mystery. Comments, questions, revisions welcomed.

You should post this suggestion in the suggestion thread. That way it can be looked at, or you can find out if they've already been thinking about this.

This isn't the first time it's been suggested. There's a lot of room for abuse if this feature was implemented. Just report your thread to a mod to get the title of your thread changed. It's what most people do.

It's a bad idea, if someone makes a rule breaking thread, they could use ts feature to change the thread title
