Nope, it tracks keystrokes, so you would have to be typing your password in order for it to be seen.

How are you gonna get it typed without typing it?

But it's a lose-lose. You'd have to type your password somewhere in order to paste it. Unless you have it saved in notepad somewhere. Edit: @Above On-screen keyboards lose too. Most keyloggers can record a screencapture when the mouse is clicked.

Obviously you copy & paste letters or numbers off any sites into a Notepad and save from there. Enter it onto maple & voila.

ZYBlade said: " on screen keyboard?" Or just type it out of order in a notepad... EG: password: spaghettinoodle2 type noodle spaghetti 2 copy spaghetti paste spaghetti copy noodle paste noodle copy 2 paste 2 ...then at least they'll be confused as to what order it's in... Obviously with a password like that it'd only take 3 or 4 trys to figure it out..but that's just an example. OR..you could just download an anti-virus, clean computer of logger, delete anti-virus program. ..there's a lot that will give you 30 days trials.

There are keyloggers that can monitors what is copied in your clipboard(edit: most decent keylogger should be able to do this). Also, there are keyloggers that able to take a screenshot of your screen at in an interval of time or upon a mouse click, though I don't think anyone would go that far on a MS game...

In addition, there are also multi-purpose keyloggers and not only take screenshots per click, but take screen shots at certain time intervals (can be as few or many seconds as they want).

Hmm... let's see... disk space for one screenshot times disk space for screenshots for every click, plus disk space for screenshots at certain time intervals... and suddenly your hard drive is full of screenshots. Not to mention it would take hours to upload all those screenshots in an e-mail to the "hacker", not to mention he's got to sit with a slideshow program looking through all those screenshots for you to copy and paste your password. Not that I'm saying it doesn't happen- I know there are Maple Story specific keyloggers that have been spammed in fake e-mails that specifically targeted the Asian versions of MS, and apparently those same trojans are showing up on GMS players' computers now too. Just makes you wonder how all that work is worth it for a game... you'd think the "hackers" would get more out of checking the pay phone coin returns at the bus station.
