Trade Hack clear up with techies

| Hey Maplers, I hear theres a lot of confusion with "trade hacks." Personally, i believe this wave of paranoia comes around every year. But still I'm curious and do not want to read 10 page flame wars of speculation. So can any techies who know something about hacking (not implementing they do or they should) or packet editing etc. explain if it is truly possible. This thread is strictly not a flame war! | I'll try to put my 2 cents in. CS=Client Sided(You control it, it's what you see) SS=Server Sided(It's all the data that goes in and out of the Nexon servers) When you accept the trade, it's originally a CS thing that will transfer a unique code through every time to the server. Hacks to effect other's game play can only be done through SS hacks. You can NOT effect anyone else's CS scripts unless you have access to their computer itself. A trade hack would effect their own unique script going to the server which can only be created from their own Client. Basically, clicking the trade button creates a CS code. You can not edit other's Clients so forcing someone else to trade is impossible unless they click the button themselves. |

| im not a geek but there is no such thing as trade hack its either a dumb glitch nexon has or just the person lags and accidently does something. other than that i say its not possible there is no such program for "trade hack" i see people all over ms saying they go ttraded hacked and stuff like that. like i said some people r just dumb or they might misplace there item after trade is over and can;t seem to find it or they actually traded there item during a scam and called it a trade hack end of topic hope i cleared everything up |

| @disciples: well educated answer! in otherwords (what i thought) you have full control of whats on your side of the trade or screen. they cannot influence you in any possible way unless they have control over your computer i love how a simple one post can clear up so much confusion. 10 pages of flame wars is not necessary. | If someone was going to hack your account, they wouldn't do it by trading, they would just hack the Nexon servers, get into the database, and take the info from it. |

Well what you're failing to comprehend is that everything has quantum mechanics involved thus for me to have learned the basics of computer science I should firstly understand what these computers compose of. Hence the reason the Major in quantum mechanics is beyond relevant. You see, all our networks are interconnected. In fact, I would be lying if I said I wasn't able to retrieve all your username's and password's for Basilmarket, let alone Maplestory. However, morality contains me and thus you have no reason to fear, your accounts will remain untouched. Some people however have a greedy desire which surpasses any hope of containment and thus the trade hack exists. That's right, it does exist. Now don't be alarmed, but due to your interconnected networks you are all at risk - the government, the CIA, the KKK; they all can access your computer. So Basil, I'm not saying you should stop playing your games, I'm just saying you shouldn't be lying to yourselves and constantly assuring yourselves that your computer is safe behind your baby little firewalls and inferior anti-virus programs because your not. Anyone who fails to comprehend that simple statement is simply oblivious towards their own fear to the point they must lie to their very self every damn day. I hope I have shed some light on the matter. |

Bill Gates doesnt hire people, he is a figurehead that makes money. IF someone was that skilled of a hacker, the internet would not exist anymore because he/she would have destroyed it. |
