21993Is there a guide on how it works? Or if someone mind to link me to a guide of it, or tell how it basically works? I tried searching for it but it seems like I failed. Mind some people helping me through it? ;) I've been out of Maple for like, 8 months. I just came back here thinking I might play 2 games now, especially since it's summer. (the other game is pretty real life day time based so it doesn't necessarily need long-hours-of-grinding there to be strong).

Family Bonding, isn't that where you have 6 jrs below you on your family, and it gives you and all of the jrs 2x exp for 30 minutes? They all have to be online too. Do you need to know about the family system as a whole? In a nut shell, you look for a junior, someone below your level, but within at range of at least 20 levels. Best thing to go for it 10-15 level difference. Reason for that, is because if they pass your level, their purpose is cut in half. The purpose of a junior is that when they gain experience, and when they level up, you get rep points. You can use rep points for various entitlements, such as teleport to a family member online anywhere, 2x exp 30 minutes, 2x drop 30 minutes, and other such things which you can easily look through in the Family menu. You can add up to 2 jrs. Your jrs can add 2 more jrs. You get half the reps that your jrs accumulate from their jrs, so it is good to let them know or help them find a good jr.

I actually am taking Computer C for the first half of the summer and C++ for the second half of the summer in the near community college since the UC allowed me to take them... So I thought while playing games, might as well crack up some codes XD. It's not like I'm going to be playing 24/7 lol. And hey, I was just asking for the family bonding thing? jambajoe said: "whats the other gane called OT: family bonding are you talking about the teleport to a familiy member or what? are you asking about the whole family deal? and how everything works or is there a specific part" The other game is Mabinogi XD. But please no flame wars around here, I'm just playing games for fun XD. And I'm sorry, I didn't know anything about family bonding that there's different parts on it. I guess the whole concept thing? What's the different advantages that I can do and whatnot? Because I dunno exactly how this thing works :O

OT: family bonding is where u need 6 members to be on from ur family tree ( pedigree) so u all get 2x drop and exp.

My guild's been talking about it all the time and I got curious. Apparently all of them are too busy to explain the whole thing. For starters, how do I start or join it? :P

Sorry to ask, but you said that if the jr passes you in level, their purpose is cut in half. What does that mean? and now that i've read this, i have to laugh at one thing: i have an char who had the word Mule, in her name, and realizing that a family is only useful if you level, why on earth would 4 people have tried to bring me into their family? lol, just something funny i noticed.

I am pretty sure what I said summed it up fairly decent if you would just read it. You start join by allowing someone 1-20 levels higher than you to senior you, and by you adding someone 1-20 levels below you as your junior.

Oh man, that was very helpful! Thanks! xD! And just as the other person asked, what do you mean by purpose cut in half? Edit, Oh, and sorry, the term was kind of new to me that I didn't get what you mean by purpose, when I went through it the third time, I saw what you meant XD.

It means if your junior is above your level, you only gain half as many rep points for the junior gaining exp/leveling up.
