Chinese people+Rice

I just want to see how many of the Chinese basilers eat rice for nearly every meal. I'm Chinese myself and i want to know. Hell, once i asked my parents why we eat rice every friggin day and they responded "because we are Chinese, what else do we eat"? I was so disappointed in them after that..

I'm 100% Chinese, and I've never had a grain of rice in my entire Chinese life.

Why were you disappointed? That's the reason. They were raised that way and so were you. Now if you want to trace it all the way back to your heritage then that's another thing. T_T

I'm Chinese and eat rice almost everyday, but once I move out of my parent's home. There will be less rice, and even if there is going to be rice, it's going to be brown rice My dad dropped his bowl when I told him that eating White Refined Rice everyday isn't that great (I'm a nutrition student) and he demanded why wasn't it that good for us lol.
