Lvl 86, 27 AR, 887~1565 atk. I'm looking for some sort of training guide. Where to stand, what attacks to use, %/hour, and most importantly, the cost of pots. (I heard it's a real pot burner.) (Is that true?)

yea just look where other ppl stand, it uses about 600pots per hour (1500hp pots) and im lv 104 atm and i gain over 25% per hour there wich is alot

>.< dayum at hoodoos, i get 10-13%/hour, but i manage to make some profit. Are there any rare drops they give which can be sold for a lot?

thunderryu04i recommend you watch a vid to see where to stand (right about in the middle), AR as your main attack (obviously) and bomb/fire to lure, and you should get somewhere between 25-30% per hour. as for pots, WITH a zhelm, i use about 300 barbs/hour so you're gonna want something like 400 barbs/hour and take some ginseng with you (black elixer - 40% to hp and mp). I'm in windia and a veteran typhon hunter (spent about 20 levels there) so i can help you out if you would like.

Stand on the plate on the middle where there is a weird tree and a little step. You should step below the step and head towards it so you get super kbed into the step and not into the JQ. You will spam arrow rain most of the time and use arrow rain, inferno (if you have, lvl 1 is enough) and strafe in order to lure them and gather a mob. Since your lvl is low you won't have to lure much but still you might want to lure so in order to lure you should go up, jump to the right, continue to the right, go down 1 plate, continue to the left and fall back to the step (and hit all the typhons along the way). Also, remember to cc and cc back once in a while in order to release the typhons which are stuck at the bottom of the map (it works if you just get out of the map so falling down does the trick but takes more time than ccing). I gained at least 25%/hour at your lvl- without the exp curve so the exp is VERY good. Right now, i burn around 275 barbs/hour. Including mp pots and warrior elixirs i spend around 500k/hour. However, i have a zhelm which reduced the damage i receive and i kill them faster than you so you might use up to 500 barbs/hour while training there which might be quite expensive (however- typhons do drop 1k bags but not a lot of equips). If you can't stand the price- cheaper spots like wolf spiders might be better for you (you can make tons of money at wolf spiders if you get good drops). If you have already have lvl 21+ strafe- you can head to the newts sniping spot for around 18%/hour and no hp pot usage (but training there is VERY boring) or gobies for less exp but more interesting training.

futakeye 06/15/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
27 ar at newties is.. useless, you should tell us your strafe lvl for that.
MrMarvelous 06/15/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
You don't use AR at newties.
