Iimportance of Maxed SE

Im in a bit of a predicament right now. I recently failed SE 30 and can't find/ really afford to buy another one. So I don't know how soon I can get SE 30. I have 20 points in SE and lvled twice during the event. So I have 6 extra SP saved. So my question is how important is it that I max out SE? Will parties dislike it if I don't have it maxed. Should I start maxing another skill until I can Pass SE 30 or just save my points? BTW I happened to come across a cheap MMB 20 and found a MMB20 during the event so I was thinking of maxing that next. (that's 2 total) EDIT: I put all 6 points into MMB (just enough to get the 70% and 2 wp atk bonus). I was also able to pass MMB 20 on the first shot. :D

It's rather important. SE 30 is equivalent to the difference between SE0 and SE1.

i dont get how SE works even though lv 1 says 10% my damage increased by like 4k with SE can anyone explain how it works

Maxed se isnt really that important, hell you couldve stopped at 10 se really and it wouldve been good. The only reason you would max se first is for joining zruns and stuff, otherwise it be better to start on mmb or get 11 or 21 hurricane once you get a good amount of se.

Basically, add 200% to that value, and that's what your Critical damage should look like. Strafe with level 1 Sharp Eyes gets a total of 311% damage.

Hmmm, I don't plan on doing zruns. Its also nice that SE and Booster now sync so I guess I should leave it there for now. I guess I'll go with MMB and try and pass MMB 20 now.

You should max it as soon as possible, because other people will always choose the archer with higher SE lvl

I'd have to disagree. I think SE is important because partying is key in gaining the most experience. I have single points in DB, FP, snipe and pierce (for fun), and now 6 in MMB. Its also since Im a MM and I don't get a different main atk skill. Bowmaster builds are far more difficult and variant than Marksmen builds.

I understand that MM have to focus more into SE, but this guy is going PURE SE. o.0 I'm sure MM boost does some great changes on its first few lvls? Edit : hey wait, your the TS, didn't notice cause you said you had 6 mm boost, etc. could have updated your level so I wouldn't have gotten confused, F3, ok so your not going pure SE then. I didn't say a lot was bad, I meant pure was bad. lol

If you're not planning to zruns and other party themed things SE20 should be more than enough to get you by. Work on other things my brother!

So how is this for a build: Level 120: 1 Pierce 1 DB 1 FP level 121: 1 snipe, 2 MMB level 122: 3 MMB level 123: 1 MMB, 2 Pierce then I max pierce, then I max SE. so is that alright?

Oh god no. Get SE to at least level 9. It'll raise your damage way more and the timer on it wont be as annoying
