To kill a Crimson Balrog

What lvl were you able to kill a crimson balrog? I'm a lvl 103 priest with max shining ray and I keep dieing, but I think that's because I got cheap on my auto pot settings. Is there a guide on tactics to kill them? Thanks! Also, out of 9 trips, only 2 crogs showed up, and that was 7 no shows then 2 in a row . Did they change something about when/how/why they show up.

My sister soloed c-rogs first time at about 9x, just use ginger ales and pot yourself

With max SR, you just gotta Attack and manual Pot.

My first (and successful :D) attempt was @lvl 92. I guess we use the same tactics - I just stood on the edge and spammed IS, trying not to fall off the mast. I used Ginsengs to pot touch damage, and Gingers for magic attack. Not sure about spawn, but whenever I go hunting, I don't find anything

i killed 1 at lvl 75 the other killed me when i soloed 2 it was at 8X

I soloed them on my old priest at 78 I believe. Just spam Ginger Ale whenever you get hit, SR in between.

First solo was early 8x... You gotta concentrate, and you might need to overpot a little that early

Pot every hit. Normally, as long as you can hit it often enough, you can kill it within the 8 min.

Killed one at 85. I killed a lot recently, lol only a few 2-3 min each. I'ma try again with max thunder spear at 104+ for fun You can easily kill at 8x, you just gotta be good with tele-casting and running away.
