To all the people out there who sit for hours trying to decide on a new character's class, here is a thread to help you decide. Your class depicts your personality, so choose which of these apply to you. Warriors Overview : The warrior is the most basic class, melee-based, a perfect first class while you learn to play the game. They have the highest defense and health, and are more of damage tanks then attackers, however still have some good defense. Used mostly in boss runs. Spearmen : Spearmen are the warrior class that attack groups of monsters. Like all the warriors, they have good hp and defense, and are more of tanks than attackers, and the Spearmen has a helpful hit blocker skill. This class reflects someone impatient and proud, who can attack groups of monsters but still guard their teammates at the same time. Page : The bigger tank, they use swords and maces. Pages are cheap to build, and the mace scrolls are extremely cheap, so they are a good first class. They are mostly used as a tank and do little damage. This class reflects someone who is willing to take orders and is willing to sit back and guard while his teammates kill the monster. Fighter : The "Classic" warrior, uses Swords and Axes. They are a lesser tank, and have the least defense of the three but have a greater attack. This class reflects pride and masculinity, as if saying, "I'm not going to sit there and guard while you do all the damage, I'm Destroying that monster!" Bowman Overview : The long-range class, impossibly hard to train, and aren't very strong until the fourth job. Reflects a patient person who is willing to wait to be strong and famous. Bowman are mostly used for party-killing monsters and killing bosses. Hard to get into party quests. Hunter Uses bows, they eventually gain the hurricane skill, which shoots a whooping 8 arrows. Until then, they can only attack in a row, must attack at long range, and have skills that multiply damage, amount of arrows shot, or explode/pass through monsters. Reflects someone who simply wants to multiply their damage with percentages. Crossbowman Uses crossbows (go figure), they don't seem to be a very popular or strong class for 1st and 2nd jobs. The Crossbowman is incredibly difficult to train, but progress alot. At 3rd/4th job they get a couple skills that raise their damage greatly, and to be honest have good mob control. It's only worth training if you know you're going to stick to it until level 70+. *No third path* Magician Overview : An incredibly strong class that combines fashion with power. They have strong yet flashy skills, and Reflect someone who needs fame and respect. They have the incredible ability to attack both infront of them and away from them, and most spells affect an entire area. Mostly used in party quests, spam-killing monsters, and boss runs. Also incredibly expensive, from burning mana pots to having the most expensive weaponary. Ice/Lightning Mage : The Ice/Lightning Mage is a proud and noble class,

i feel ur guide is slightly bias (as in crossbowman sound lk they suck), and its not very consistent (they need to be talking about the same job level). i read the whole thing, and well, it needs to expanded, and more neutral. gl improving it.

I told the truth about how people feel in general, which is important. I did jump across levels, but i adressed the interesting points in each job, what people have to look foward to and if it's worth the wait.

like in the mages section, f/ps arent a party class, and i/l isnt pure destruction either. Ice is good support for some PQs, whereas poison is good for solo training on tougher monsters. some clerics also solo train. also, bowmen arent that hard to lvl IF you enjoy it. Like i said, this cant be made by just one person. it needs to be editted by others to work out the bias/misconceptions.

I am a crossbowman, I love it, it might not be the easiest class to train, but hell, it's fun...isn't that why we are playing this game? I don't think you should rate them on how easy they are to train...

tell me a pro of the xbowmen and ill tell the pros of an xbowmen. i can't find any pros. I never said this was perfect. and i never said f/p were party classes i consider them spam-killing/boss killing class. And i/l is pure destruction, deal with that. i actually solo train on my cleric, but i give the average of the class so people can choose for themselves.

Hunters lvl VERY fast 40-50, just go kill z.lupins and lupins from platforms with arrow bomb. awesome exp. I don't think that any "choosing character guide" will actually help a person choose what class.... Well thats just what i think : /
