Title System. Ever wanted to show you got the skills for the most kills? Ever wanted to show you've got the most fame in the game? Ever wanted to show you're the best to the rest? If you, have we got news for you! We are rolling out Titles for those of you deserving of such distinguishment. The Basics. It's easy! You go talk up a storm with Dalair, Monk of Honor and get a Title Quest. Then you do that thing you do so well, and go back to Dalair to recieve your well-deserved medal that attest to your greatness. **Note: The quest titles that Dalair offers you will bary depending on your level** Maple Dubs Thee... An Honor Bestowed For... Diligent Explorer : Logging in 3 hours every day for 27 days. Veteran Hunter : Killing 100,000 monsters of any kind. Party Quest Mania : Achieving the S rank on 5 party quests. Quest Specialist : Completing 800 or more quests. Celebrity : Acquiring 1,000 Fame points. Ulimate Job Title : Achieving Level 200. Special Titles. Of course, there are those of you super-duper overachievers whose thirst for greatness cannot be quenches by the titles mentioned above. That's why we have a special titles such as these. MapleStory Honors Thee... For Donation King* : Donating the most Mesos in any one town. Maple Idol Star : Being the most Famed character in Maple World. Legendary Hunter : Hunting the most monsters in Maple World. Horntail Slayer : Kills the most Horntail in each world. Pink Bean Slayer : Kills the most Pink Bean in each world. *Available through the Donation Box NPC *If another user meets your record, you will lose the rights to your title and the medal will be deleted from your inventory. Rewards. Why risk my character's pecious, NX cash-accessorized neck for some title, you ask? To get these medals of course. PQ Mania Medal : Diligent Explorer Medal : Quest Specialist Medal : Celebrity Medal. And many more medals await you. These equip ables not only give you your due title but gives you buffs that will enhance your already amazing stats. So play on, Maplers, for a chance to show yourself off! Source: link

you know right where the big family medal line is on a normal avatar, well with the medal attached you get character enhancements, plus it says you are a blah blah type of adventurer. Plus there are harder medals to obtain that can be taken away from you depending on how well you do, For example Horntail slayer medal, it is awarded to the player that kills the most horntails in the server, now when someone gets more kills, the medal is unequipped and sent to him/her. These medals can only be given to one person per server, plus the are drastically more useful then the previous "titles"

It surprises me how many clueless people ask "when is 2x?" or "when is ____ coming out?" when they could just take a quick look at the website. Especially with all these people on the general section going around posting a link to the new news.
