Earlier I posted a thread about a guy who made me angry, and I defamed him, and since he saw that I didn't care for fame, he said he would get back at me, and that karma is a betch... I feel I may be as good as hacked pplz ._. any advice? Edit: Is there any way for me to get in contact with nexon and tell them about my concerns of being hacked? I don't want $800+ of nx to be a waste after I worked so hard on my chars...

People who get "hacked" didn't actually get hacked. Most of the time. It's typically a case of them giving their log-in info to their "Maple-Mate" or some of their "friends" and then they get double-crossed or something. On the rare occasion, though, you do meet someone who got keylogged. Now, for you, just don't do anything suspicious. Don't go to any sites you don't normally go to, conduct a regular virus or malware check (once a week, or even once a night if you sleep with your computer on), and don't give you login info away to anyone. At least you didn't get mass defamed. I don't care about fame much either, I don't buy it or trade it, I just kinda have it. One time this chick defamed me eight times. I mean come on, why does she even have that many accounts? -_-;

First thing, karma isn't real. Believing in karma proves how naive one truly is. Second, I doubt he could hack you. Unless he knew your Username+Pass+Pin, you're safe.

Assuming that passwords can be 12 letters/numbers max, and caps DON'T matter, that's 4,738,381,338,321,616,896 possible passwords. That's 4.7 quintillion by the way. Then there's his pin. 10,000 possible pins by the way. //Edit// Just for fun, and also because I'm pretty sure that caps DO matter, here's how many there could be if caps do matter. 92,420,056,270,299,898,187,776 -- 92.4 septillion.

He can't "hack" your account without your ID (and PW). He can't get on your account without all of your info.

But caps do matter, and 10,000 pins turns the combined possible combination to beyond 100 quintillion, add in caps multiply that by way to much.
