What is this guy thinking? The whole story started when my friend had 24 STR and was a level 12 Magician. He told me, when I run out of MP, I'll just whack the monster to death.. I though to myself, not a bad idea. Why should we care? This thread is to tell and persuade people to play Maplestory for Fun not for dmg ect like Inbomb's mission as a LUKless Bandit, and a STRless Brawler. How much mesos would I need to start one? I'd have to say you'll need at least a decent WG with ATT on it. What weapons do you recommend I have? 1-20 Stars and stripes or any BW. 20-25 Fish Spear 25- Pumpkin Spear 43- get a Maple Soul Singer (: 55-80 I strongly suggest you get a Super Snowboard 80+ : Sky Ski What about equipment? I perfer you have.. Noob clothing at lv 0 all the way to 20. 20 : Bathrobe 30 : Sauna robe. (You'll want the avoid) Any will do, but I strongly suggest you get a PAC later on. Also, a decent glove for ATT. 6+ and don't get a shield, its not worth it. These are pretty much all the equipment you need. To be fancy, get the Glowing Whip and an ATT shield, zhelm, raccoon mask, etc.. How do I do my stats? Your level = your int (: (More int = more mp = more vitality (MG ^-^) Your level x2 = your dex, until level 55 Your STR = the rest. Skills? Mp recovery 5 Max Mp increase Magic Guard Max Mp recovery 1 Magic Bolt Max Magic Claw Cleric : 1 Teleport 2 bless 1 heal, keep doing this until bless gets maxed Max heal Max Tele Max Holy Arrow Wait.. isn't this a beginner's guide as well? Sure is, just that the only difference is that you get to tele, whack, tele, whack, heal etc. Its more fun, trust me. The end? Most likely not, its really late and I might have missed a few things. I would most likely recommend blunt weapons/swords that are common for the lower lvls [Easier to get higher atk]. If you're going to just whack the monsters, you would be better having the maple soul singer unless the pumpkin lantern has +Accuracy. And most likely a str shield as it's less expensive and more affordable. If you're gonna make a good guide though, it would be better to include the monsters that you'll need to kill and pq's that you should do. You should also add that it's pretty pointless to be a str cleric and how people will most likely not include you in a party and most likely make fun of your character. And...you should also include a list of skills that you need to add for first job, etc. Like, it's pretty useless to add anything onto magic claw or energy bolt.

i think weapons aren't right, you would need 1 hand weapons to use magic attacks. Then switch to spears later on because your damage will be higher

Whether youre playing for fun or not, if you have str as a mage, you'll get ksed out of every ch, and nobody will add you to PQs.

Oh look! A not so good guide on being a Str-Magician..... Old idea with same old concepts...... Bravo for being unoriginal! As for the "Why should we care?" part..... That is a really bad reason for playing a Str-Magician. 90% of Maple would not consider this to be fun. You Cleric build isn't finished either...... Are you suppose to max MpE or Invincible? I'll just leave this as is for now. Don't want to waste more time on a basically useless thread.
