What's with the map hogging?

| I don't get it. I understand that a person wants you to CC if the map is small, but how about a HUGE MAP like Mysterious path 3? There's the top, middle, then bottom right? My bf went in a ch and there was a weak cleric there. Asked him to leave (cc plzzzzzzzzzzz0x), but bf said he will be on top and they could share, besides monsters will spawn faster anyways. Dude was selfish and doesn't wanna share. BF ignored him <_< (I usually would CC, I don't like to deal with those kind of people). Dude brought his guildie and KS's bf. Guildie stalks bf and watches/ks him. (that's really scary. I guess they had time to waste?) So bf hosts this "patience game" by himself and wants to see how long those people could ks him. Dude brings another guildie <.< after like 30 minutes, one of them defames BF and leaves. After like 5 mins they all left. *rolleyes* Bottom line: I wouldn't hog a huge map where I can't even kill stuff at a decent speed. If you see a jerk, CC <_< |

 | This used to be a huge problem back when zombies were the most efficient training ground, the map was huge. However that didn't matter, they still wanted you too change channels. KS wars were common in el nath, I understand the situation with the CC and I agree with you completely, most people are paranoid that they will get ksed out so they put the tough guy personality out there. For example: I was training at roids, I was lvl 69 and "thenewreb" of bera came in told me his intentions of ksing me out and that his guild was coming to leech him off "my" map. Some people need to learn some respect, the roid map I was in wasn't very big so needless to say I was not pleased. |

| On the other hand, someone going into YOUR map is never fun, and just because you're ok with it doesn't mean other people are. It's their map, so you should respect their opinions, if the person says no, it's their map and you should leave. You have no idea if that person will end up taking the mid/top spawn later on, and even if he doesn't it's not right to just steal it from him without asking I mean, being told no then STILL doing it. Just because you think it's ok doesn't mean the other person thinks it is, and unless it's your map it's not your call, he has every right to ks and defame your boyfriend, sorry. I think your BF is a jerk, just personally. Ex: Like a himes map. Sure, it's huge, but when someone kses your spawn it's not very fun. Same goes with newties, skelegons, they're all big maps. The size of the map isn't the point, it's that 1. You don't own the map, and 2. People usually wait for the spawn on another platform to build up before mobbing it. I wouldn't hog a huge map where I can't kill stuff at a decent speed either, but I would also respect the choice of the map owner, and not ks him because that's being disrespectful and mean, and really shows your true character because often times the person getting ksed has no power over you. |

You're killing their hard earned mob that they haven't gotten to yet, and 2. Because you're messing up the spawn in the process as well, and 3. It's their map, and what if someone was ruining your spawn? You wouldn't be ok with it either. The kser doesn't feel the pain because none of the stuff is entitled to them. Your example is an example of what happened to the poor cleric this girl's boyfriend ksed. |

| I hate it when people won't share maps, instead of asking cc plz, like a ret@rd that can't spell, ask party please? because you get more xp that way (most of the times). but noooo, everyone needs to be arrogant and think, because they are first in a map, its theirs. Thats the biggest bull ive ever heard in my entire life. It's like a friggin kindergarten |

 | If nobody owns the map, then when someone tells me to CC, all I have to do is say sorry you don't own the map. Like honestly that sounds like a bad move, but really you have to gauge the situation first before putting a "tone" into it. Like I am not the guy you see "stealing" maps from other people, but hell you can't tell me to leave, I deserve to be there just as much as you. |

I'm sorry, but, have you ever BEEN in MP3? There is a massive bottom platform with a truck to snipe from for mages. And then 2 upper-platforms. Basically, the cleric will just stay and spam heal, it's faster and saves pots. Besides, the spawn will slow down and her BF was actually inreasing the spawn by keeping things even on the 2 upper platforms |

Thats the biggest bull ive ever heard in my entire life. It's like a friggin kindergarten" You hate it because you can't find your own map, and then decide to just grab someone else's. You could be ruining their 2x, or their playtime because not everyone can play as much as they want, but you don't care because you have the ability to take and kill his mobs, so it doesn't matter to you since you aren't getting the short end of the stick exp-wise. People are rude when asking to cc because 1. You probably killed something already, or 2. They've had to say it to 10 other people in the last 5 minutes and gosh darn it they just don't have the time to type out a special little message just for you. Arrogance? So if I come into a map and start ksing the heck out of a poor dk at himes, and he starts being rude, then he's arrogant? Not really. |

Do you understand that the exp wasn't being taken, by evening out the spawn for all platforms, there will be more monsters on the bottom, rather than on the top andhave the bottom decreasing. | The map is entitled to the first person within the map, doesn't apply to cash shop/ MTS/ "Re-potting" people. What gives you the right to claim their map, even if its a portion? Spawn and mobbing are things that should be considered before you do anything in the map. I agree that they should be more polite and not ask "cc plz" or "Get the hell out " which occurs alot. If everyone tried to grab a portion of a map in maple like you did , KS wars would break out 24/7. And your scenario has occured to me, oddly a "Maple couple" tried to KS me while I was solo-ing a map and my archmage friend saved the day. Though that was like 20 levels ago. |

| Its noones map to begin with. KS away or change channels, but dont say 'It's my mapCC'. You'd be wrong and sound retarted all at once, not a good combo. |
