If you care to read this, go ahead. If you are just here to flame, please leave now, save me some stress. Today; I craduated from the Eighth Grade, I am now a highschooler. We had a mini graduation which was fun, I loved listening to the people speak and how far my class had come. I have been friendless from 1st grade up to the middle of eighth. Midway through eighth grade, I was angered with how my life was going and I changed it. I became more friendly, and I began to make friends. So, after the graduation, I was just talking with my friends, I was having so much fun, and just realizing that I had come from getting 0 signatures on my yearbook last year, to have 36 this year, made me so happy. I also got so many hugs from all of my friends, including some I dont know quite well. So Having the best day ever, I get into my moms car and we drive home. My dad is home to my surprise which was wonderful. He said that he wanted to talk. While at the graduation, my mom asked my Spanish teacher about how I did. He said I recieved a C in his class. I am a good student, but have had trouble in spanish all year, it seems foreign language isnt my thing. My mom asked if I wasnt trying, and my teacher told her I was one of the hardest workers in the class. So, my mom and dad beging the conversation like this "You got a C in spanish but you were working as hard as possible. Obviously, this school is to hard for you and you should be sent to public shcool." Now, I only recieved this one bad mark, all my other grades were good. They lay the "We dont want to spend money on this school, to find out its too good for you and have you ruin your future." So, after all I had worked for to better my self socially, because I have one weakness in Spanish, they want to take my school, my friends, and all that I had accomplished away from me. I honestly am shattered to the point beyond no repair, I am going to try to prove to them that I should stay. How should I prove my point? Thank you for reading.

Only way I can see is to open up to your parents about your friend issues. And after all this hard work, that your parents are being hypocrites by shattering your future by dameging your social skills.

Yet, I say I have friends, they answer, "So? Why should we care. Make new ones." I have a hard time making friends, dont know why, just always have.

Tell your parents that you can't fail on one subject. Even if you aren't good in foreign languages, at least you passed, and you did it with hard work. Now that is a real accomplishment, to defeat your weaknesses. And to my knowledge, C is still sufficient, even though it's on the edge. So I say you go to your parents and tell them that the school isn't too hard, you are perfectly able to make it and that one subject isn't going to ruin your future, but they will if they continue like this.

EtokapaTell them how much you like being at that school, and how you will try harder next time. You didn't try to get a C, but sometimes that's just how classes are. We all have are strengths and weaknesses, and going to school is why we go to learn overcome our obstacles.

What angers me even more, is that I have hired a tutor over the summer. Im using my own money that I make. I am not ok with a C, but it was all I could accomplish.

Like I said, be proud of the fact that you put hard work in to it. Even if you are not the best, you're still trying, and as long as you try, there is something you can accomplish.

Isn't it preposterous how schools mandate specific subjects on students that they may never need? People need to die in purple fires if they think no student is decisive enough.
