Windows Xp fixes all zak problems?

I was buying my zakum helm yesterday i was on a vista pc and dced on one of the bodies it said 'run time error' so i pulled out my windows xp cd and installed it. I am now using windows xp i am running again soon does windows xp fix all dcing errors or do i need to alt+enter or something?

From what I've seen, there aren't really any errors that I've seen while zaking on XP.

there is one some of my buyer who have xp dc if u enter when other ppl enter the same time i tell them to wait for everyone to go in first then u go in

its HS u got to go to the HS folder delete the update folder than click HSupdate.exe or seomthing than let it update than it should work on vista

Vista doesn't make you DC, it's probably just your wi-fi or internet service (Or how old your computer is)

I've never ever DC'd on vista, anywhere. Unless my internet connection switches off, like it did when my router broke. :P

most vista pc arnt same version btw... theres home prof and w/e edition. some come pack with reg that other version dont have. home version = dont have alot of reg install

Lol it really all depends on your rig.. some machines are born with vista, being vista certified. others can be "vista ready" and just being able to run it. no one said it would run smooth or good, but it runs lol. but what you got to remember here is that if you dc cause of a internet issue then its not a problem with the operating system your using, but more likely a router or wireless router problem. I'd love to help you out if u have any further questions. also its a question of taste if u want vista or not. can u live without the new features and the better GUI then your okay with winXP personally i use ubuntu as my main OS then games that can't run through Wine i run from a win7 OS using multiboot :P

Uhhh, well from my experience, I was at zak in windowed mode and running TF2 in windowed next to it, somehow when the last body died my processor state went up to 100% and maple froze up. So, I think that the moment Zakum dies there is a great strain on your processor and if your processor isn't good enough it just crashes maple. o.o Anyway, what I can recommend is definately getting Windows XP, mostly because it just puts a smaller strain on your hardware. Whatever else you should do is try not to run too much at once when you zak.

I d/ced twice today in my zruns. Both times i d/ced on the 2nd body just a lil way into it. When it happens my maple goes black then closes and i get a hackshield error, saying something like "hackshield failed to initialise (-496965600)". I have windows vista.

Have u disabled your UAC (user account control), and are u an admin on the local PC? hackshield might need admin privilidges at a point to continue doing something. i did a bit of research and this is what i got from AhnLabs website AhnLab's website said: "OPERATING ENVIRONMENT 6.What are the system environments required by HackShield? Minimum System Requirements: CPU: Intel Pentium 133 Mhz or above (IBM-PC compatible) RAM: 32MB+ HDD: 2MB+ disk space Minimum Operating Environments Windows XP Windows 2003 Windows 2000 Windows ME Windows 98 Windows 95 + IE 4.0" As you can see it says nothing about supporting vista. Maple should deffinantly have reminded users about this.

The reason most likable to causing these d/c's at zakum bodys is because you are lagging alot due to the attacks (spammed by guild) and if you attack the body yourself you will most likely d/c at a body, I was on a zrun recently, there were 4 buyers total (me including) 1 couldn't get in 2 d/c'ed due to attacking the 2nd & 3rd body Hugging the wall (as we call it) during the whole run is probably the biggest chance you got to not d/c at a zakum body.
