Flamethrower poison effect

Has anyone else noticed that it doesn't really work? There have been times where I've used FT and it'll almooost 1hit the monster, but there will be like a tiny bit of HP left on the HP bar. I just sit back and see if the poison effect will finish the monster off, but I never see the HP reduce AT ALL. The monster is pretty much unaffected and doesn't die. What's up with that?

Oh wait. I just went and tried this again a few times and basically, the fire poison DOES do damage to the monster, but it won't kill it, it'll just take it down to 1hp like all the other poison attacks, lol :l Pretty entirely useless IMO, since you have to use another attack to finish the monster that probably would have 1hit the monster without the help of the poison burn. @above, even though the poison does kinda suck, FT isn't really used for the poison at all anyways, so don't be too dissapointed /thread

poison dont kill a monster - thats y fire mages can not simply just poison the map ;] they have to burn it ;D as a finishing mob
