what makes corsairs balanced compared to others?

| this might be somewhat of a silly question coming from a level 70 outlaw, but at least it should indicate that i like my job and don't have any bad agenda behind my question. basically, i was grinding yesterday thinking how similar outlaw's and corsair's can be to marksman/bowmaster (ie, rapid fire, some of the elemental attacks) and even how similar they can be to NL's (burst fire, recoil). and then i started thinking how they don't have some of the moves that either of these classes really great like shadow partner or SE. in fact, corsair's have NO unique (so MW doesn't count) party skills at all! which led me to wonder -- are corsair's incredibly strong in their final job to make up for all these negatives? given how tough it is to get to 3rd and 4th job as a slinger, you'd think they'd give you some killer solo or party moves in 4th job. i like that all the classes seem very balanced out. but what makes a corsair balanced given all the hard work it takes and no party skills? thanks for your thoughts |

| Geez.. everything.. The only thing they can't do in this game is power knock-back. They stun, freeze, poison effect with fire, have elemental attacks, have an ultimate, have multiple summons, have powerful single target and multiple target attacks, variety of unique skills and fun skills.. like wings, hypnotize etc.. they have a large variety of attacks, they're wanted attackers in boss parties and can solo train very well.. have I missed anything? |

| Corsairs have the highest single target DPS in the game. You have a move that has huge range and does 1500% (?) of your damage range. You have a move that lets you target a specific monster so all of your moves are directed toward it, and you get a damage boost. Do you really need anything else to "balance" the class out? Corsairs already own pretty hard. Edit: Yes you're more than balanced at 4th job. xD |

Just by putting 1 point on burst fire and i can already do 4.5k. Now its level 4 and it can do arround 6k |
