I loved it offf. I read the books and loved them and the movie was just omg. I could tell people who weren't fans of the book wouldnt get the movie too much and would hate it, but thats ok they should always cater to movie to the fans of the book. Well I liked twilight. I read the books, and I read a lot of other books and I still thought twilight was good but thats because I don't 'critique' and analyze books. I am forced to do that in school untill I'm bleeding novel analysis through my eyes and nose so its not what I want to do in my free time. I don't compare books usually, because authors have different styles and it takes getting used to. I think SM made up for lack of character development ( I think thats most people's problem with it lol) and other things with the really fast moving plot, and making the reader feel everything they want to. It was very enjoyable to me, and I guess that's my thing...I read for enjoyment and I can't really call one book better than another
