Why don't Christians follow the the old testament?

As far as I know, Jesus used to follow it, and there is no verse in the bible that says don't follow the old testament. I know that there are some Christians who follow the old testament, but I'm wondering why not all?

Obviously it is very difficult to follow the Bible word for word in our modern societies.

Old Testament is the only part I do believe. I'm Jewish.

The reason that he forbid it in the old testament is unknown today. Mabye you should ask a local pastor or priest on their opinions about this.

Christians do follow the old testament and the new testament. Jews follow the old testament which is their Torah. They dont follow the new testament which is jesus' teachings.
