I was skimming through the rankings this morning and i had remembered that it's been quite a while since pirates arrived in Maple. So i check the rankings just to see who is the top pirate. expecting to see someone in the 150's or 160's, you can imagine my surprise when i see that a level 197 Buccaneer (i'm assuming he's a bucc because his rank picture has a blunt weapon (like all brawlers)). My simple question is, what is your opinion on this situation? I mean, there was a time when reaching 200 took well over a year, and this guy looks like he'll do that by the end of the month. Did he leech? Or did he spend hours upon hours in front of his comp while grinding with 2x or x exp? Either way, I would like to hear your opinions about it. Discuss please!

You prolly mean Ray, or iSlapWhale. He trains alot, on 2x, and is loaded through the nose with nx. He does train with a bishop most of the time, and is 2/4xing quite alot. He'll hit 200 soon.

I think there was a Bishop in Bera who just became lv200 in just under a year of making the character. He probably just leeched and trained on 2x/4x/8x.

Well I can understand a Bishop because of Genesis, but a Buccanneer? Come on!

Who CARES if he leeched? How much Honor should we award those brave trainers who resisted the temptation of leech for years of grinding to achieve a high position in a game?

hmmmmmm.... you present a good question astrokid, i have mine at lvl 45 but i only trained for about a month and a bandit at lvl 54 which i trained for about 2 months and i HOPE he didn't leech because i have been wanting to leech but i thought it would be the same as cheating so i don't do but MAJOR props to iSlapWhale IF he didn't leech but if he did then crud....their went another one to the dark side /

Like I already stated in the other thread, training is faster than leeching. If all he did was leech he'd still be 15x or 16x. To be the rank 1 Pirate he's obviously had to put a ton of time into training himself.
