And if you broke these hunting seasons, you could become a poacher. And if you didn't get caught, you could become a smuggler, a class that merges characteristics of trad. archers and pirates. But here is the thing: there should also be a secret police, out to get you! So beware poachers!

lol u guys r so mean. interesting idea but naaah... it woudnt be too fun. i like the smuggler part tho. Like with full time PvP and several safe towns. Some people join like a police rank and some people a smuggler or sumthing. Sort of like a good vs evil aspect? and classes can be slightly altered due to which one you pick. Not exactly that but something like it.

Actually, I had a better thing cross my mind when I saw this thread title. A "Hunting Season" would be like... every month, a few different monsters at various levels would give more experience or drop-rates than normal for that month. That would be cool =p Your idea, not so much...
