Continue, or start a Gunslinger?

Ok, my main account has a F/P, a mule and a "free spot". This spot was occupied by a brawler I made. (lvl 34) The thing is, I find my brawler rather boring, eventhough I had already unlocked the "cool" skills, (SSK, Fists, DU, that punch skill, Blackspin Blow, etc.) and the only good equip he has is an 8 atk WG. Now, I didn't wanted to make a gunslinger because I always heard the same things over and over: "Low-dmg, but it gets better at 3rd job"...Now, my F/P has been my only char that has ever reached the 3rd job in 4 years, so at that time, I didn't thought it was a good idea to make one. Some hours ago, I finally made a gunslinger...right now its lvl 11 and I gotta say: Holy Sweet Mother of Pineapples! he is fast O_O...Damm that skill "double shot" is incredibly spammeable (spelling?). I heard someone said in a guide: "Double Shot is as fast as L7"....U_U I don't think so, that freakin skill is the fastest Ive ever seen. You can actually fight two monsters in both directions and never get hit. O_O! Ok, I know you guys know this, but dammm I'm still astounded. (spelling again?) *Now here is my question? -Do you guys think that if I make a gunslinger, will I regret of it? Making a new char means, deleting my lvl 34 brawler. This is because I like my new chars to be on the same account so I can transfer items easily. (ores for quests, money, equips, etc) or -Should I continue leveling my lvl 34 brawler? NOTE: Please, I don't want you guys think of me as a bandwagoner or "another person that will raise scroll prices". Thanks in advance and I'm sorry for Grammar and Spelling mistakes.

Honestly, you should just play what you enjoy. My personal preference is Gunslinger, but it really is up to you.

Preferences differ. Most of the responses you'll get from an Outlaw were because they enjoyed their character, unless they leeched (I'm going into flame-bait topic but whatever), in which they claim to "enjoy" their character but didn't have to go through all the levels to become one... so that's not real enjoyment in my opinion. Personally, I love my Outlaw, although there were a few times I had to take a break from it because it was getting slightly dull.

I'm not whatsoever a "damage wh0re" of something near to that. But from the few responses of this thread, I think I'm going to do a gunslinger.

If you are not a damage boar, then this is a good sign to enjoying being a slinger (especially pre-outlaw-hood). Many a person has started a slinger only to see the low numbers you will be dealing for a good 50+ levels, and quit. A slinger is a good class to play if you like speed. If you think double shot is fast now, wait 'till you hit second job and get gun booster. Holy cow when you are attacking a monster that way there are so many numbers flying around it looks like there should be a couple people attacking there's so many. Mobility is also something to look forward to and want if you are going to be a slinger. Dash in 1st job, then wings and recoil in 2nd will make you very mobile and fast, and very hard to pin down by a mob. Slingers are considerably faster than brawlers, so if the speed was one of the things that you didn't care for on your brawler, then you will probably enjoy the slinger more. It is true that slingers don't really come to 'shine' until third job and later, but hey, so long as you are having fun, who cares if you aren't the strongest person out there? Besides, give the 8 atk glove to the slinger and scroll an overall for 100% dex. He'll still do decent damage. Besides, you can PQ you're way all the way into third job nowadays, so it really doesn't matter if you're dealing out the highest damage, you've got a party to compensate. Sure, you don't have any party buffs that will help them, but once you get blank shot, the ability to stun monsters (especially 100% stun when maxed) is invaluable to helping group mobs together and keeping monsters off of the ranged attacker's backs.

I find gunsligners more enjoyable, and you think DS is fast in 1st job? lol with booster, my DS shoots as fast as a Hermit with booster + SP. which means every one of my shots = every one of his shots. with him having equipped SP. While the damage might not be the same, that's a rly fast skill.

With SP, Lucky 7+Booster is faster than double shot+booster. |

I love my slinger. Guns arefun and I can stun and shootdown monsters with ds or mob my stuns with invisible shot. I like this because brawlers usually unstun unless they use double upper and backspin repeatedly I'm not saying brawlers are bad. It's just that I didn't get a thrill from mine. I will still try to my brawler level 40. Just for fun
