error code : -2147467259

Why do I get this error? I open the launch pad, then click play, it loads for a while, then error code : -2147467259 suddenly pops up. I have a PC, windows XP. How do I fix this?

Well, unfortunately mine is Vista. On Vista, you run your mouse over the icons in the bottom right hand corner of your taskbar and see if there's one for Updates... I'm not sure how similar it is to XP though.

First off - try updating. To update - go to Start -> Programs and look for Windows Update. If updating doesn't work - try reinstalling MapleStory. The -2147467259 is an error I got all the time when I refused to update my system. Even after udpating - it was an infrequent problem which I finally totally resolved by reinstalling MS

When I tried updating Windows, it says something about my windows not being "genuine"

go to ur comp right click and check on ur properties to see what vga u have and then go to link mine was intel so i searched under intel. uninstall ur vga and then re-install it

I had this problem bfore :P.. I just lagged myself on by downloading something during the hacksheild load :D I presssed pause, let the thing load then resume the download :] I use a modem btw
