I'm really getting discouraged form continuing to level due to my attack range. I'm level 100 and it's 13XX-21XX. My base dex is 110, and base str is 30. I really don't feel like continuing cause i know i will always do horrible damage. From now to 120 i will be putting all my AP into Luk. I have very decent equips too, this is what makes me mad is that its not like i'm unfunded >.< My question is should i continue my CB to 120, or just quit. When i say quit i mean quit maple because it takes up way to much time out of my life.

Do the Bandit class a favor and continue. The bandit was never made for the highest damage. Continuing a bandit means learning to be dedicated to the class aside from knowing that you won't be the strongest class out there. Edit: Then again.. it's your life. If maple is stopping you from something else you really want to do in life, quit maple.

Sushi makes a very good point. Is maple in its entirety getting dull. Do you enjoy playing, do you wish to strive to be one of the awesomest 4th job classes in maple? Or is it just something to do because you don't have anything else to do? I quit maple because it became a tedious chore to grind for hours. I wasn't enjoying the game like I used to. Mind you, I still go on to chat with friends, but I mostly use the time I would've spent on ms for other stuff, like writing =)

wow now i feel bad for talking to you earlier =( you can always make up for the high dex by buying luk equips. they're a little more expensive than dex equips but getting luk earrings and a luk top would help. a dex bottom combined with a zhelm should give you plenty of dex to wear anything, and that means you could focus your money on getting face stompers with 5+ attack. then for str you could get a str pac and with a zhelm and pendent i think you could wear a dkhanjar if you worked it out right. point is, unless you've gone over the limit it's never too late, you just have to get different equips to make up for it =)

I'm doing this so i can be able to wield the 120 shield. Is there any other way besides getting LUK equips that i can boost my dmg?

When u get the 120 shield ur dmg will dramatically increase. Then at 110 try to get onto a cwkpq and get a mon (+5 to all stats and 10 watk)

I say don't quit, unless you dont have a life outside of Maple. Bandits are my favorite class. You guys are WAY better then Hermits and Priests. WAY too many of us, WAY to few of you.

Just keep going, you are doing just fine, i just hit shadower a few days ago and its wicked fun, sure they may no have the best damage, but when u look at it, its much better that pressing ctrl all the time.

i made 5 cbs counting the one im playing rite now thats 6 cbs and 1 shadower there my favorite class and always will be. this is what you should do Keep the pride in being a str dit fork over the str with ur ap so u can replace some of ur str equips, becuase str equips are really hard to come by using a few ap points should help u out, after the str is acounted for just get some luk gear. seeing how ur dex is such a high base and ur using a red thingy(forgot the name) thats a easy source of luk. after that try and get a pendent, cape atk, fs, not sure if u have a zhelm or not but zhelm 15 str plus a dep star or mon=20 str, since ur base str is 30 then ud only need to add 20 ap to str. lol i sadly failed on my high dex str dit maybe u can make it

I mean currently I have a range of 14xx - 24xx But I had the same range back at lv 100, I also have a base str of 50 and a base dex of 110, so were kind of in the same boat I guess. Motivation is a hard thing to get, I bought a couple of Dragon Khajars to try and get me there as well as a nice Gold Double Knife. 120 may seem long ways, I use the 2x events so I don't have to spend too much time on maple when I could be doing other stuff. I think Shadower will be waay better than CB since the last few levels since you only get to add points to queer skills such as pickpocket etc. But I gotta say I'm pretty excited, bu then again I think I might quit after I get Shadower. :/ 3 years + on this game wasn't worth it for me in the long run.

well u could turn it around by geting 75 str and geting a dragon khanjar it would bring ur range up 500-800 depending on the stats but other wize just go all out luck and if u get nx reset ur dex into luck and get atk wgs :P ur rate shopuld be 2xxx-29xx

I have a 7 attack shield right now so it will only be an 11 attack boost which is about 100-150 increase. Btw to people wondering about my equips they are: 108/6 Gold Knife 7 att shield 10 att WG 2 att 10 STR PAC 10 STR top 12 dex bottom clean zhelm speg necklace avg shoes.
