Preparing to make a luckless after the event

I'm thinking of making a luckless after the event. So far I have 2 maple staffs. What should I do with them, and what else is worth getting in preparation? Should I make it during the event so I can get earrings or something? Should I take the risk and leaf upgrade the staffs to try and get a good lama/ wisdom? Also, poll to help me decide what to go with... (Probably I/L for now)

like me ^.^ i like ice/lightning , cleric r cool, fire mage has high damage but prefere ice mage

F/P does really well at 3rd job because of misting, but it's your choice.

cleric..duh. they can get boring. but when training on those weak to "heal" its pretty easy plus 4th job is pretty good. everyone needs a bishop in the party. you can support as well as do alot of dmg in the long run.

get a wisdom with your worse staff, you can't get lama through upgrading. why not start now? the exp curve is smaller and easier to level unless you want to concentrate on your current character. job wise, I can't help you as I've all 3.

Hehe I voted for Fire/Poison because it's rare! ^.^ I've always wanted a Healer....made a Magician soon to be Cleric as my second mule but realized it's dumb to make a second main on the same account, so I had to start fresh with this one. After that I want both an I/L & F/P magician. All are/will be lukless just because I don't see why not. It's easy to add more luk later on if needed, but it's very costly with resets to trade Luk AP into Int AP. Also I would make them now, during the event because Adjusted Exp won't last forever. This should be a reminder to me, to train my level 20s I made many months ago. o-o ps. I'm going for Maple Earrings but it's not easy trying to get more than +3! x-x

Hm yeah I guess it'd be good to start sooner... I'll see what it turns up upgrading the staff. Any idea how much a decent clean or scrolled lama would be nowadays on mardia? (probably in a couple of weeks unless it's better to buy now)... Seems like they haven't been going around so much with the rarity compared to previous years.

I have seen a decline of clerics nowaday, all I see at MP3 are f/p and i/l wizards. But then again I'm in Kradia. So my opinion is go cleric ^^

1. There is no need for preparing to being any character, really. As long as you a weapon to use, all characters are playable. Even less for Lukless magicians. 2. What is wrong with all of you...... Why the -word- would you start a new character after the event! It is illogical and very unintelligent to start a new character after the event. We currently have a exp curve and characters between lvl's 11-30 are leveling much faster. With x2 exp events, this exp gain is even much faster. All characters at all levels are much easier to level now......so it makes no sense to start a new character after the event....

Unless you want to focus 100% on your main during this event, it doesn't make sense to start a new character after the event. Imo, start now and get it to 2nd job as soon as you can so you're less likely to get him to 25ish and quit him because you miss your main.

I/L. o_o Actually, depends on what kind of person you are. Loner = F/P Social = Cleric ...awesome? = I/L Lawl, I have all three. I like my ice mage the most :D
