Falling into the Dreaded "Friend Zone" ?

I've read several posts here from guys lamenting their being relegated to the Dreaded Friend Zone by women they like, as well as women commiserating with said guys for being relegated to the Dreaded Friend Zone by women, as well as several well intentioned but probably futile strategies for escaping the Dreaded Friend Zone. from both guys and women. But...I don't see (m)any posts from women lamenting their being relegated to the Dreaded Friend Zone by guys they like. Guys, do you even put women into the Dreaded Friend Zone? Ever? Women, have guys actually put you into the Dreaded Friend Zone? And is it lamentable, or a relief?

I think you are in fact, sharing the same Dreaded Friend Zone with the sad guys all moping around. You are gonna have to put them all into the Dreaded Friend Zone too probably when they see you, even though they are already there.

I've put girls in the "friend zone". If you have a good friendship, but you want to keep it and you don't want to be more then friends for a bit then ruin it, I could see it happen.
