No one can tell you which. Fail thread. Each has advantages and disadvantages, don't ask dumb questions.

They are equally strong; as in they do good damage depending on who is making the assesment of what good damage is. Brawlers do better in mobs; slingers do better 1vs1.

hi guys i've been playing maple for some time, but then i have had a break then when i'm about to start up again i see there is a new class out. I'm quite interested in the gunslinger type can anyone enlighten me about the pros and cons? as i hear they are quite cheap and don't need a lot of funding but on the other hand have low damage at level 60 and below?

gunsgliners are weak, yet fast and mobile til 3rd. they get strong then. brawlers are slower with delays but have great damage on mobs. 3rd job, nothing new cept transform and chage/drain and blast. 4th job corsairs become the most powerful dpm class on one target. Buccs dpm is alright, but their damage in one hit is great. they outpower most classes in terms of mobs besides warriors.

Fun is subjective. For bossing, corsairs are stronger.

ShawnYue said: "by the way also what is this battle ship thing that everyone talks about?" It's a battleship (as the name suggests) that has HP, wdef and mdef, and from which a corsair can use certain skills, such as 'cannon' which appears to have the highest DPM in the game (without SE or apples).

Buccs are lower in solo DPM, but are most likely stronger in mobs. Buccs can train with a lot of invincibility, and drain back a lot of the HP they lose. The higher HP of a buccaneer suggests that they can take on bosses that deal higher damage without the need for HB or HP washing. I don't get why people say that if you know for sure you'll get to 4th, choose slinger. It's not like being a buccaneer is a curse, we just don't solo bosses quite as fast. |

Make a brawler, most of the people that made a slinger quit before lvl 70.
