O_O need i say more?" of course, i'm not talking about the physical means, but the elements behind them: what do all these games have in common? -side scrolling graphics and environment -hack and slash -jumping -finding items -monsters that attack you -the list goes on the only significant difference i'd say is that you cant chat with a controller very well, but how hard is it to put down a controller (on your lap) to type on the keyboard? there are a lot more buttons to configure on maple, but there are also gamepads out there with 16 or more buttons, which is plenty for most people. i find that when i use keyboards, i fumble and miss keys a lot, wasting a pot, or missing it completely. As an archer, fighting things that can 2 hit KO me would kill me too often. I find that the mobility is more challenging as well, which is why i prefer usign a controller (for all games) Plus carpal tunnel is something i cant afford to get - using a controller completely takes those risks away.

Isnt it nice to kick back from they keyboard and the mouse, lean back in your chair and enjoy a comfortable position using a controller? Casual training, not like im gonna be using a controller to walk around henesys ch 1 talking to people, but for those light casual grinds where you just want to enjoy a game

How does the controller work? Do i bind my skills to a key and then bind that key to a button on the controller? I might play my brawler with a controller if this is the case...Can someone PM with the specifics of how you bind each skill to the controller keys? Also: The games you guys mentioned that work with a controller are bad examples. They are created around using the controller as an input device. They are NOT like maple story at all. However, considering the number of skills you use often in an average grind session a controller is entirely possible for MS.
